Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between AIe SISI (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JP Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, AIe SISI!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, JP Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for SISI, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
SISI attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
SISI looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jacobs moves out of range of the body kick.
SISI misses with the combination.
SISI stuffs the takedown attempt from Jacobs. Jacobs gets slowly back to his feet.
SISI swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jacobs steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from SISI. That one must have hurt.

Jacobs shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. SISI is trying to defend but Jacobs finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jacobs is thwarting SISI's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are battling for position here. SISI manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
SISI wants to sweep but no luck.
Jacobs keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of SISI's head.

SISI is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jacobs is looking for a sweep. SISI is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

SISI thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jacobs has momentary wrist control but SISI slips an elbow through the middle.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jacobs holds on and takes a little breather.

Jacobs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in SISI's guard.
SISI has momentary wrist control but Jacobs slips an elbow through the middle.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jacobs cracks SISI with a solid left hand.
Jacobs wants to control from the top but SISI keeps moving.
Jacobs postures up and lands a big shot to SISI's brow.

SISI working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jacobs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jacobs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jacobs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That was a close round but I would say that AIe SISI will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Jacobs closes the distance and clinches.
SISI wants to get back to striking at distance but Jacobs won't allow it.
Jacobs drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

SISI thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jacobs's head.

SISI sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jacobs's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

SISI is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jacobs can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
SISI throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jacobs.
A clash of legs there as SISI blocks the low kick.
Jacobs tries to close the distance and clinch but SISI swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
SISI misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jacobs lands a nice shot to the body.
SISI rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jacobs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jacobs lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
SISI defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jacobs.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jacobs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with SISI but SISI pushes him off and we're back to square one.
AIe SISI has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JP Jacobs.
SISI stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and SISI wants it to stay on the feet.

A close second round but JP Jacobs will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jacobs closes this distance looking for a takedown but SISI circles away.
SISI scores with a push kick.
SISI throws a series of punches but Jacobs avoids them all with ease.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from SISI is defended easily by Jacobs.

Jacobs shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jacobs showed some decent athleticism there.

SISI avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jacobs.
Jacobs wants to control but SISI is keeping him busy.
SISI moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Jacobs stands up over SISI, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horrible takedown by SISI or perhaps it was just good defense by Jacobs which made him look bad.
SISI misses with a series of wild punches.
Jacobs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. SISI tries to avoid it but Jacobs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag SISI to the ground. SISI escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

AIe SISI is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

SISI is pressing down on Jacobs's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jacobs is holding on for now.
SISI throwing shots but Jacobs is blocking nicely.

SISI is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jacobs sees it coming and defends easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

SISI is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

I would just about give that final round to JP Jacobs.
I think Jacobs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
