Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's entrance music is Sleep When I'm Dead. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jamison keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva rushes Jamison and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva throws a head punch that misses.
Jamison blocks an uppercut.
Silva tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jamison's elbow.
Jamison has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

It looks like Mack Jamison has been cut.
Silva lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Silva lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jamison backwards.
That has opened up Mack Jamison's cut even more.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva lands a shoulder strike.
Jamison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Silva lands with a light punch inside.
Silva lands a nice knee to the body.

The cut above Mack Jamison's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jamison blocks a punch to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Silva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Silva lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jamison or not.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mack Jamison's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mack Jamison's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
