Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Masaru Hirai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JC Hiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaru Hirai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JC Hiro!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hiro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hirai pinned against the cage. Hirai gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hirai moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Hiro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hiro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
