Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robot Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch comes to the cage accompanied by The Doors-Break on through. Robot Joe is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robot Joe! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch misses with a double jab.
Lynch throws a sloppy head kick and Joe moves out of range easily. Decent striking displayed by Lynch there. Joe takes a body punch but keeps moving. Joe misses with a head kick.
Lynch digs a good hook to Joe's body.
Joe fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lynch cracks the inside of Joe's front leg. Lynch uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Joe looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lynch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Joe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Joe looks gassed! Lynch darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lynch misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Joe was covering up waiting for the punch and Lynch finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lynch slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joe controls the position for a moment. Joe gets back to half guard. Joe is staying active underneath Lynch, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lynch seems to be working for a kimura but Joe defends the submission attempt.

Lynch trying to control from half guard but Joe is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joe is controlling Lynch's trapped leg to prevent Lynch from advancing to side control. Joe tries to roll over but Lynch keeps him under control. Joe blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lynch.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Joe scores with a leg kick.
Lynch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe wants to clinch. Joe on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Joe fails with the takedown and Lynch counters with a good low kick that Joe was not able to check. Tim Lynch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robot Joe. Lynch lands a jab. Nice jab there from Lynch. Lynch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lynch misses with a low kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe moves forwards but Lynch connects with a nice, crisp jab. Lynch throws a combination. Joe tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Lynch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Joe sprawls well. Joe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lynch gets slowly back to his feet. Joe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Lynch looks for a takedown but Joe sprawls well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lynch wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Joe is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lynch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Joe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Joe with a flurry of punches that miss. Joe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lynch swivels though and keeps the full guard. Joe throws and elbow that misses. Lynch uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Joe's guard. Nice move by Lynch! Lynch passes easily into side control. Nice work. Joe avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lynch. Joe tries to bench press Lynch off him but Lynch keeps the position. Lynch postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Joe is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Joe struggling a bit here. Joe trying to remain calm as Lynch controls from the top position. The ground and pound from Lynch seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Joe tries a head kick but it misses.
Tim Lynch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Joe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A head kick by Joe misses and Lynch counters with a head kick. Joe tries to clinch and Lynch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A slapping leg kick lands for Lynch.

Lynch throws a sloppy head kick and Joe moves out of range easily. Lynch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Lynch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lynch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tim Lynch will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Joe content to control rather than advance. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Joe is keen to just control but Lynch is a slippery customer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Joe pushes Lynch up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lynch has Joe pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lynch pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Joe tumbling to the mat - Lynch dives into Joe's guard. Joe pulls Lynch in to control the position. Joe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lynch tries to free his leg and advance position but Joe is retaining full guard. Lynch is posturing up here but Joe has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lynch tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lynch has to tap! Slick submission there by Joe!
