Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Fintch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tif Da Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fintch comes into the arena with A Nation Acrobat blaring out of the sound system. Tif Da Cat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harold Fintch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tif Da Cat! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Cat dips to his left and cracks Fintch with an uppercut!
It looks like Harold Fintch has been cut. Da Cat looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fintch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Da Cat is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Da Cat tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fintch postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Fintch slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fintch wants to stand but Da Cat is controlling his posture from full guard. Fintch seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fintch looking to sit in guard and control but Da Cat gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Da Cat looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Da Cat trying to control but Fintch is working from the bottom. Da Cat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Da Cat scoring with punches to the head and body. Da Cat trying to control the position from guard on top but Fintch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fintch is pulling down on Da Cat's head to control his posture. Da Cat controls from within his opponent's guard. Da Cat wants to control from the top but Fintch keeps moving. Fintch looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Da Cat with a flurry of punches that miss. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Da Cat has eaten all the pies! Da Cat passes into half guard. Fintch moves into full guard.
Fintch is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Cat won't allow Fintch to sweep him here. Fintch wants to stand but Da Cat is controlling the position. Da Cat trying to control but Fintch is working from the bottom. Da Cat looks gassed! Da Cat trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fintch keeping moving, preventing Da Cat from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Da Cat tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fintch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Da Cat throws a right and a left that Fintch avoids nicely. Fintch forces Da Cat back against the cage and clinches. Fintch drops down looking for an ankle pick but Da Cat pulls his leg out and moves away.
Da Cat misses with a takedown and Fintch counters with a nice double leg into side control. Da Cat won't be happy with that. Fintch lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Fintch in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Fintch stands up and beckons Da Cat to his feet. Fintch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fintch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fintch landing with the ground and pound. Fintch slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Da Cat tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fintch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fintch. Fintch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Da Cat looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fintch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Fintch landing some decent shots from guard. Da Cat looking for a sweep. Not yet Da Cat, not yet. Fintch advances to half guard. Fintch seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fintch working over Da Cat with some ground and pound. Da Cat looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Da Cat is refusing to be controlled, as Fintch sits in half guard. Fintch frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fintch lands a nice shot to the head. Fintch lands a heavy elbow. Fintch content just to control the position here. Da Cat tries to hold on but Fintch pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fintch scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Da Cat?
Fintch trying to control but he's not successful this time. Da Cat wants to hold on but Fintch pushes him away. Fintch with shots to the head and body - Da Cat looks very uncomfortable down there. Da Cat wants to control but Fintch is having none of it. Fintch with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fintch prevents Da Cat from getting the reversal. Fintch connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Da Cat tries to lock up and control but Fintch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The referee warns Da Cat that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Da Cat wants to control but Fintch is having none of it. Fintch looking to control but Da Cat is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Da Cat is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Cat is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Fintch can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Da Cat is looking to escape. Fintch working for a submission but Da Cat is keeping him at bay. Da Cat tries to hold on but Fintch pushes him away. Fintch is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Da Cat can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Da Cat slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Fintch decides to return to a standing position. Da Cat circles away from the clinch attempt.

Fintch trying to control but Da Cat is working from the bottom. Da Cat pulls Fintch in close to prevent any damage. Fintch looking to pass the guard. Fintch pushes down on Da Cat's leg and manages to get into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Da Cat falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fintch counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fintch wanted to stand there but Da Cat had control of the position. Fintch in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Da Cat looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Fintch would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Da Cat is on top in guard.
Da Cat sitting in guard, not really doing much. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fintch keeping moving, preventing Da Cat from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fintch is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Fintch jumps into guard, dragging Da Cat to the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Da Cat accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fintch looking to control.
Da Cat wants to control from the top but Fintch keeps moving. Fintch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Da Cat is aware though and is defending well. Da Cat won't allow Fintch to sweep him here. Fintch is looking to stand up but Da Cat isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fintch looking for a guillotine here but Da Cat defends easily.
Da Cat controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fintch looks for a takedown but Da Cat sprawls well. Da Cat feints and as Fintch raises his hands in defense, Da Cat changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fintch is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Da Cat is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fintch keeping moving, preventing Da Cat from controlling successfully. Fintch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Da Cat pushes down on Fintch's leg and manages to get into half guard. Da Cat wants to control but Fintch is keeping him busy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Da Cat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fintch lands a high kick!
Da Cat throws a lazy head kick and Fintch counters with a head kick. Da Cat misses with a double jab
and Fintch counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Da Cat has Fintch pulled in close to control his posture. Fintch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fintch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fintch being controlled here momentarily. Da Cat kicks Fintch off and gets to his feet. Tif Da Cat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harold Fintch is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Da Cat throws a body kick the misses and Fintch counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Harold Fintch showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fintch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
