Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fighter Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter Guy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Hurley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fighter Guy! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hurley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guy sprawls well. Guy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hurley gets slowly back to his feet. Hurley moves out of range as Guy strikes. Guy swings for the body but Hurley moves out of range.
Hurley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Guy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hurley is defended easily by Guy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hurley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guy keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hurley moves in looking to clinch but Guy pushes him off. Hurley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guy pinned against the cage. Guy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hurley tries to clinch up. Guy moves out of range of the body kick from Hurley.
Guy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hurley's guard. Guy throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Guy works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hurley wants to get back to full guard but Guy has passed into side control. Guy throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guy punishing his opponent with strikes.
Hurley is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Guy controlling his opponent. Oh Hurley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Guy throws some wild stikes that Hurley manages to avoid easily.
Guy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Hurley seems to have got his legs back now. Guy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hurley wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Guy.
Guy throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hurley because Guy loaded up on that one. Guy is landing with some decent strikes but Hurley is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Guy sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Guy controlling from the full mount. Hurley holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Guy tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guy punching from mount but Hurley doing a good job of avoiding damage. Guy thowing shots but they're missing. Hurley wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Guy.
Guy wants to finish this one by submission but Hurley is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Guy. Guy working for a guillotine from mount but Hurley is in no mood to give up. Hurley blocking the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Guy throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hurley in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Hurley keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hurley tries to lock up and control but Guy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Guy sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Guy throws some wild stikes that Hurley manages to avoid easily.

Fighter Guy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Guy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Guy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Guy works his foot free and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guy won't let Hurley get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Poor strikes thrown by Guy there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hurley is bucking up trying to escape but Guy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hurley is forced to tap! Great finish!
