Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jag Smits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Meogy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smits's entrance music is Kanye West - Amazing. A fine choice. Meogy has chosen Everything in it's right place as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smits lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Mr Meogy has been cut.
Meogy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Meogy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Smits avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Meogy .
Meogy is looking to advance position but Smits won't allow it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Smits is trying to control but can't.
Meogy wants to take a breather but Smits is having none of it.
Smits keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Meogy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smits defends it well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Smits throws a head kick that misses.
Smits looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Smits is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Meogy is aware though and is defending well.

Meogy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smits swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smits has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Meogy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Smits shoots in for a double leg but Meogy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Meogy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smits.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Smits has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Meogy is working away from the top position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Smits, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
