Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mongo Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Demples (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smash kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Donkey Kong Country Music - Main Theme. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demples bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Demples pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Demples tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Demples tries to land a front kick but Smash steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Demples scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Demples closes the distance and clinches.
Demples with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Smash pushes off an throws an elbow but Demples leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Smash postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Demples in real trouble here! The ref calls for Demples to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
