Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lindros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen McMurtry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eric Lindros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephen McMurtry!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMurtry thows a body shot but no joy.
McMurtry throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lindros lands a lovely overhand right.
McMurtry takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lindros, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big left from McMurtry misses.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lindros!
McMurtry looks gassed!
Lindros throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McMurtry on the side of the head.
McMurtry drops his hands momentarily. Lindros doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. McMurtry staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. McMurtry doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eric Lindros!
