Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergei Shlemenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dekkers The! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shlemenko wants to clinch. The blocks a head kick by Shlemenko.

Shlemenko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but The wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shlemenko is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. He has the arm isolated but Shlemenko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shlemenko is working to avoid the ground and pound but The connects with a decent elbow. The moves into full mount! The lands a nice shot to the head. Shlemenko is in all sorts of trouble here.
