Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Ames (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jada Kiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jada Kiss! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ames thows a body shot but no joy. Ames throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A slow jab from Ames misses its intended target. Ames shoots in and bounces Kiss off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiss is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ames defends well. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ames throws a shot from downtown. Kiss moves away and avoids it. Kiss with a poor takedown and Ames counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ames pushes down on Kiss's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ames is looking to take a break and control but Kiss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ames seems to be working for a kimura but Kiss defends the submission attempt. Ames prevents Kiss from standing back up.
