The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPump misses with a double jab.
McPump slips a jab and a cross from Jakovina.
Jakovina throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jakovina misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McPump scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McPump displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
McPump stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McPump wants it to stay on the feet.
McPump steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jakovina.
McPump checks a leg kick nicely.
McPump looks to land a combination. Jakovina sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like MJ Jakovina has been cut.
McPump throws a combination that misses
and Jakovina counters with a three punch combo that has McPump backing up. McPump nods at Jakovina to acknowledge the strikes.
McPump stuffs the takedown.
Sean McPump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MJ Jakovina.
Jakovina throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McPump's waist but McPump gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jakovina off to one side.

McPump wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jakovina takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Jakovina is trying desperately to land a takedown but McPump is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jakovina.

Jakovina bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

McPump looks to score with a jab to the body but Jakovina is just out of range.

McPump lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jakovina backs up against the cage.
McPump misses with a double jab.
Jakovina shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McPump sprawls well. McPump wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jakovina gets slowly back to his feet.

McPump lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McPump.
Jakovina will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Jakovina counters with a series of strikes. McPump will be more careful next time no doubt.

McPump throws a combination that misses
and Jakovina counters with a slapping leg kick.
Sean McPump is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jakovina is defended easily by McPump.
McPump throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A looping hook to the body misses from McPump. Jakovina does a little dance to reset his feet.
McPump throws a sloppy body shot
and Jakovina counters with a left and a right that stings McPump.
Jakovina blocks a head kick by McPump.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean McPump dominated that round.
The cut man is working on MJ Jakovina's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
McPump stuffs the takedown.
Sean McPump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McPump throws a hook but Jakovina avoids it easily.
McPump misses with a jab to the body
and Jakovina counters with a slapping leg kick.
McPump moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
McPump swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some bone on bone action there as McPump checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
McPump pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Jakovina counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends McPump down! Jakovina is looking to finish but McPump is intelligently defending himself.
McPump is rocked!
Jakovina showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Oh McPump is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McPump seems to have got his legs back now.
Jakovina postures up.
Jakovina sitting in guard, not really doing much.
McPump on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McPump tries to get out of the position.
Jakovina wants to control from the top but McPump keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by MJ Jakovina.
McPump throws a leg kick
and Jakovina counters with a left and a right... And another left! McPump is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). MJ Jakovina!
