Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between jack murl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). murl's entrance music is Can't be touched. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sanchez's choice of entrance music: Cypress Hill - Tequila Sunrise. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, jack murl! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesus Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez sizes up murl with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sanchez thows a body shot but no joy. murl walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
murl lands with a nice body punch. A decent looking body kick lands there for Sanchez. murl throws a right and a left that both miss. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with murl but murl pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sanchez throws a head kick but murl moves out of range.

murl fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it. murl misses with a looping right. murl lands a right hook to the body.
Sanchez stalks murl and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into murl's face. murl staggers backwards, shaken. murl lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. murl misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sanchez.
Jesus Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. murl throws a jab but it's blocked by Sanchez. murl keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
murl scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sanchez misses with a double jab
and murl counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sanchez looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. murl throws a body punch but Sanchez moves out of range. Sanchez has his takedown stuffed and murl counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! murl looking to finish! murl trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sanchez's guard. Sanchez is working an open guard so murl takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sanchez with a poor takedown and murl counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. jack murl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Sanchez. A slapping body kick lands there for murl. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sanchez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sanchez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sanchez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, murl has escaped the position, nice work there. murl is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sanchez is controlling him well. murl avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sanchez. murl is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Sanchez sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but murl is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
murl pushes Sanchez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sanchez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sanchez tries to move into range but murl moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Sanchez fails with the takedown and murl counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sanchez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. murl takes a kick to the side of the head. Sanchez lands with a hook. murl tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.

murl bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sanchez's head backwards. Sanchez with a lazy takedown attempt and murl counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. murl scores with a jab to the body. murl wants to slow Sanchez down by chopping away at his legs. murl takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sanchez throws a right hand that murl ducks under and follows up with a left that murl also avoids with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Sanchez as he connects with a hook. murl takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sanchez lands a jab to the head.

Sanchez has his takedown stuffed and murl counters with a stiff right hand. Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but murl paws at him with a jab and circles away. murl jabbing away but nothing is landing. murl scores with a jab to the body. murl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A right-left combo lands from murl.
It looks like Jesus Sanchez has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. murl throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
murl is looking to wear down Sanchez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. murl throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. murl slow jab from Sanchez misses its intended target. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! murl connects with a nice looking jab.

and Sanchez counters with a series of strikes. murl will be more careful next time no doubt. Sanchez is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!murl had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. murl throws an overhand right that lands on Sanchez's shoulder, as Sanchez tries to avoid the shot. murl lands with a nice body punch. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
jack murl dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jesus Sanchez's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. murl looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sanchez throwing strikes but missing, from side control. murl is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sanchez is controlling him well. Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but murl keeps working. Sanchez works to advance to full mount. murl defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. murl is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Sanchez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. murl trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. murl is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanchez unloading with bombs! Sanchez scores with a couple of good head shots there.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. murl looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Sanchez! Submission of the night perhaps?
