Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Schwanz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schwanz has chosen Tool - Lipan Conjuring as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willie Wonka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hans Schwanz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwanz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Schwanz throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wonka fails to land the takedown.
Schwanz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Schwanz wants it to stay on the feet.
Schwanz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wonka's calf.
Nice takedown defense from Schwanz. No joy for Wonka on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willie Wonka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A punch lands to the side of Wonka 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Schwanz throws a head kick that misses.
Wonka takes a jab right on the kisser.
Schwanz throws a big shot that misses.
Schwanz throws a leg kick that misses.
Schwanz digs a good hook to Wonka's body.
Wonka walks into a left hand.
Wonka avoids a kick to the body.

Schwanz throws the kick towards the body but Wonka avoids it.
Schwanz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Schwanz fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wonka on the side of the head.
A clash of legs there as Wonka blocks the low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Schwanz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wonka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wonka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hans Schwanz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wonka keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Schwanz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Wonka.
Good standup being displayed there by Schwanz as he connects with a hook.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schwanz, right into the meat.
Schwanz throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Horrible takedown by Wonka or perhaps it was just good defense by Schwanz which made him look bad.

Schwanz leaves Wonka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A slow jab from Schwanz misses its intended target.
Schwanz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Schwanz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wonka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Wonka fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Schwanz is out of range.

and Wonka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wonka.
Schwanz has control of Wonka's left arm, preventing Wonka from doing any damage.
Schwanz keeping moving, preventing Wonka from controlling successfully.

Schwanz looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wonka puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Schwanz wants to control but Wonka is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Schwanz is looking to improve his position.

Schwanz controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

Wonka stalling away here and it's allowed Schwanz to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Schwanz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wonka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schwanz sprawls well. Schwanz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wonka gets slowly back to his feet.
Schwanz cracks the inside of Wonka's front leg.
Wonka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Schwanz.
An inside leg kick from Schwanz misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hans Schwanz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Willie Wonka's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Wonka dives in and grabs Schwanz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schwanz pushes down on Wonka's head and hops out.

and Wonka counters with a shoot takedown. Schwanz fights it but they end up in guard.
Wonka is looking to advance position but Schwanz has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Schwanz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wonka is looking to escape.
Willie Wonka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Schwanz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Schwanz manages to capitalize on a mistake by Wonka to take his back!
Schwanz really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Wonka.
Schwanz not allowing Wonka to control his hands.

Schwanz trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Wonka doesn't escape.
Wonka is trying to break free.
Wonka rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hans Schwanz.
A slapping body kick lands there for Schwanz.
Schwanz lands a nice hook to Wonka's body. Wonka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Schwanz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Hans Schwanz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Schwanz winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
