The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soprano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Q moves away. Soprano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Q was well out of range. Poor timing from Soprano. Soprano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Soprano smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Q shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Soprano as he jumps to the side. Soprano lands with a hook. Q tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A big right from Soprano misses. Soprano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Q.
Q ducks under a wild hook from Soprano.
That's one minute gone in the round. Q slips under a jab. Soprano misses with an uppercut. Q saw that one coming. Donk. Soprano catches Q right on the button with a cross. Q takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A big left from Soprano misses. Q drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Q stops Soprano from standing up. Q drops back looking for a leg! Soprano is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Soprano manages to kick Q off! Q jumps back into Soprano's guard. Q won't allow Soprano to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Soprano is on top in guard.
Soprano is looking to stand up but Q won't let him. Soprano decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Soprano misses with a wild body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soprano throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Horrible takedown by Q or perhaps it was just good defense by Soprano which made him look bad. Soprano looks to score with a jab to the body but Q is just out of range. Soprano lands a jab to the head.
Soprano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Soprano looks to land a combination but Q avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Q takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Soprano throws a jab when Q was well out of range. Soprano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Q manages to avoid it. Soprano pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Soprano throws a nice looking combination but Q bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The fighters circling - Soprano throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Q avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Q has a takedown stuffed. Soprano cracks Q with a right hand to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Q closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Soprano did well to prevent Q getting side control.

Q is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Soprano has managed to free his arm - good work. Soprano is positioning himself well to prevent Q advancing to mount. Soprano wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Q is looking to take a break and control but Soprano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Q looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Q is pressing down on Soprano's thigh, looking to free his foot. Soprano is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Soprano tries to kick Q off but Q keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Q passes to full mount! Soprano tries to hold on but Q postures up. Q jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Soprano manages to avoid the submission attempt. Q is breathing heavily. Soprano is pushing Q's head away, looking to escape. Q manages to hold on to the position though. Soprano struggling a bit here. Q is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Soprano knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Soprano wants to control but Q postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Q uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Soprano.
Jab, jab by Soprano - just one landing. Soprano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Q looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Soprano throws a hook but Q blocks it. Soprano stuns Q with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Soprano misses with a looping right. Soprano swinging wildly here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Soprano throws a combination. Q tries to block but a couple of punches get through. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Soprano dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Q fails with a takedown attempt. Q is trying hard to land a takedown here. Soprano sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Soprano loads up on a big right hand but Q slips the punch. Soprano wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Soprano looks to throw the jab but Q is out of range. Soprano lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soprano ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Q takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nice uppercut there from Soprano. Soprano connects with a body shot. Soprano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Q doesn't seem bothered though. Soprano lands an overhand right. Soprano lands a left and a right that send Q crashing to the mat, dazed. Soprano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Q takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Q is rocked! Soprano throws a looping overhand right but Q ducks down to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soprano bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Q's head. Soprano connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Q fails to land the takedown. Tony Soprano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of nathin Q. Soprano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Soprano lands a head shot. Soprano scores with a jab to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Q takes one on the button. Q drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Q has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Soprano works the jab nicely. Soprano lands with a nice body punch. Soprano lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A right-left combo lands from Soprano.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Soprano showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Soprano, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
