Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pain Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayo comes into the arena with Super Furry Animals - Golden Retriever blaring out of the sound system. Peters is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BringThe Pain. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayo thows a body shot but no joy.
Peters fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mayo avoids it really well and circles away.
Peters ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Peters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Peters is trying to get an arm triangle but Mayo is defending well.

Peters is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mayo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mayo!

Peters has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mayo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Peters.
