Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maine Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maine Burger has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bob Nelson's chin.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maine Burger! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.

Nelson moves into the clinch. Nelson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Burger pulls him back up using the underhooks. Nelson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Burger's efforts to push away. Burger slowing the pace effectively. Nelson has Burger pressed against the cage, preventing Burger from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Nelson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Burger is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The referee is keeping an eye on Burger - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Burger doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Burger looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Burger lands with a light punch inside. Nelson stalling against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson tries to score a body lock takedown but Burger shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Nelson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Burger tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nelson's elbow. Burger tries to circle away but Nelson has him pinned against the cage. Nelson is working for takedown but Burger is calmly controlling the position for now. Burger can't find room to land a body shot as Nelson controls the action.

Nelson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Burger uses from the top position. Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Burger wants to stand but Nelson is controlling his posture from full guard. Burger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nelson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burger throws a strike but Nelson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Nelson keeps control of Burger as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Burger is trying to break the clinch but Nelson has him pressed against the cage.
Nelson has hold of one of Burger's legs. Burger is fighting the takedown attempt but Nelson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Nelson controls from within his opponent's guard. Nelson prevents Burger from getting back to his feet.

Nelson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Burger looks gassed! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nelson's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Nelson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Burger gets caught flat footed, as Nelson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Nelson stops Burger from standing up. Burger keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully. Nelson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Burger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nelson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nelson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Burger is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nelson is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nelson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nelson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nelson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nelson won't allow Burger to sweep him here.

Nelson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Burger fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Burger jabs at Nelson's body. Burger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nelson was well out of range. Poor timing from Burger. Nelson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burger.

Nelson looking for a takedown. Burger tries to stall but Nelson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Nelson shoots in and drives through. Burger sprawls well. Burger looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Nelson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Nelson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Burger is fending him off so far but Nelson persists. Nope, Burger circles away and we're back to standing. Burger is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Burger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Nelson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Burger! Burger is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Nelson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Maine Burger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Burger tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Maine Burger. I think Nelson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
