Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Drysdale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ismael Turkilmaz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drysdale tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turkilmaz swivels and escapes. Drysdale has a takedown stuffed. Turkilmaz tries to sprawl but Drysdale drives through with a takedown into half guard. Drysdale is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turkilmaz is just riding it out for now. Drysdale eventually gives up the hold. Drysdale is trying to work for a kimura but Turkilmaz is defending well.
Drysdale is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Turkilmaz defends it well. Turkilmaz flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drysdale is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

This could be trouble! No, Turkilmaz has managed to free his arm - good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turkilmaz is defending against the submission attempts here by Drysdale.
Turkilmaz is looking for a sweep. Drysdale is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
