Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolao Mine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rich Gold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bolao Mine!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mine is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gold closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gold lands in his opponent's guard.

Mine escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gold gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gold connects with a nice short shot to Mine's temple.

Gold slips a nice elbow through Mine's hands, connecting with Mine's forehead.
Gold has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bolao Mine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gold closes the distance and clinches up with Mine, looking for a takedown. Gold pushes Mine against the cage but Mine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gold shoots in but Mine avoids the takedown attempt easily.
