The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yu pinned against the cage. Yu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Yu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lewis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lewis shoots for a double leg takedown but Yu sprawls well. He's pushed Lewis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lewis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lewis lands a big shot there that rocks Yu but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Yu is desperately trying to improve his position but Lewis has a good base and remains in mount.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fred Lewis will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Lewis feints and as Yu raises his hands in defense, Lewis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

and Lewis counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Yu thinking.

Lewis is pressed up against the cage. Yu has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lewis down to the mat. Lewis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lewis shoots for a double leg takedown but Yu sprawls well. He's pushed Lewis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lewis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lewis dives in and grabs Yu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yu pushes down on Lewis's head and hops out.

Lewis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lewis is looking to wear down Yu with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Yu has Lewis pressed against the cage, preventing Lewis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lewis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
