The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nansen tries to move into range but Carwin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Carwin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nansen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nansen lands with an overhand left.
A decent looking cross lands there for Carwin.
A combination from Carwin does no damage.
A nice leg kick lands there from Nansen.
Nansen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carwin.
Nansen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nansen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carwin thows a body shot but no joy.
Carwin throws a big shot that misses.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Carwin.
Carwin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tor Nansen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carwin checks a leg kick.
Carwin throws a right and a left that Nansen avoids nicely.
Nansen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Carwin.

Carwin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Carwin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nansen is staying active underneath Carwin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Carwin manages to get his head free but now Nansen has transitioned to an armbar! Carwin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Nansen! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
