Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Byron Blythe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blythe's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I want your skulls- Misfits. Canthropus has chosen Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine as his entrance music. Pithe Canthropus struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Pithe Canthropus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Pithe Canthropus!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blythe lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Blythe throws a right hand that Canthropus ducks under and follows up with a left that Canthropus also avoids with ease.
A telegraphed right hand from Canthropus misses the target.
Canthropus connects with a looping right hand.
Canthropus just misses with a punch to the body.
A nice combination there by Blythe.

Blythe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Canthropus.
Canthropus is looking to land body kicks.
Canthropus misses with a few strikes there.
Canthropus just misses with a punch to the body.
Blythe moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Blythe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Canthropus counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Blythe is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Canthropus pivots, looking for a leg kick but Blythe is out of range and Canthropus settles back down.
Blythe darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Blythe misses with the combination.
Blythe lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Canthropus can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Blythe and Canthropus drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Blythe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Byron Blythe!
