Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Troy Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Jacque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Martin Jacque was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Troy Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Jacque! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacque decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Miller is trying to stand.
Miller wants to control but Jacque is keeping busy.
Miller looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jacque passes to side control. Jacque looks gassed! Miller wants to get back to his feet but Jacque drags him back down. Miller is looking to reverse the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Miller closes the distance and lands a one-two. Miller misses with a low kick.
Miller takes the fight into the clinch. Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jacque uses from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacque trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller has control of Jacque's left arm, preventing Jacque from doing any damage. Miller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jacque manages to get himself to full guard.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jacque swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jacque is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Miller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Miller sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacque is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jacque keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Jacque had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Miller is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jacque Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Miller's back instead. Miller trying to control the action but Jacque just sinks the hooks in. Jacque is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Miller has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Jacque has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Miller taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Jacque doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Martin Jacque!
