Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sgt Parrotface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mr maroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). maroon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. yes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! mr maroon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sgt Parrotface! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, mr maroon! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by maroon. Parrotface can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. maroon wants to control but Parrotface is keeping him busy. Parrotface tries to improve position but can't. Parrotface parries the strikes from maroon easily there. maroon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Parrotface to escape.
Parrotface really is a fat lump. maroon scores with a couple of short elbows. The ground and pound from maroon seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. maroon looks up at the clock and then as Parrotface takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, maroon smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
maroon throwing shots but missing, from side control. Parrotface takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
maroon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Parrotface's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. maroon lands a decent elbow from side control. maroon working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. maroon working away. maroon has knee on belly and moves into mount. maroon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Parrotface is desperately trying to improve his position but maroon has a good base and remains in mount. maroon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Parrotface can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. maroon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Parrotface looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. maroon cracks Parrotface with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Parrotface is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! maroon working away from the top, dropping strikes. maroon postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Parrotface in real trouble here! The ref calls for Parrotface to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). mr maroon!
