Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Scofield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Miyagi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Scofield! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyagi misses with an uppercut. Scofield saw that one coming. Miyagi gets the takedown into side control. Miyagi scores with punches from side control. Scofield is looking to regain half guard here but Miyagi keeps moving and retains side control. Scofield wants to control but Miyagi postures up. Miyagi landing strikes. Scofield avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Miyagi. Scofield sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Miyagi winds up and cracks Scofield with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Miyagi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miyagi is looking for a kimura but Scofield is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miyagi to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyagi is nestled in close to Scofield, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Miyagi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Scofield sees it coming and defends easily. Miyagi wants to advance to full mount but Scofield doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Scofield utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Scofield trying to keep a closed guard but Miyagi is proving a slippery customer.
Miyagi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Miyagi throws and elbow that misses. Scofield uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Miyagi's guard. Nice move by Scofield!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Scofield postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Miyagi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Scofield, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miyagi trying to control the position from guard on top but Scofield is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miyagi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Miyagi working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. That's three minutes gone in the round. Scofield is looking for a triangle but Miyagi pushes his legs off easily.
Scofield looks gassed! Miyagi passes Scofield's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Miyagi passes the guard and advances to mount! Miyagi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Miyagi is in the full mount, landing strikes. Miyagi working the ground and pound effectively.
Scofield bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Scofield tries to free his leg and advance position but Miyagi is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scofield avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miyagi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Miyagi pulls Scofield in close to his closed guard and prevents Scofield from doing any damage or advancing position. Scofield must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miyagi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scofield looking to pass the guard. Miyagi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scofield manages to get himself to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miyagi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Scofield's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hiro Miyagi dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Scofield is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Miyagi pulls his head out easily. Miyagi frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Miyagi is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Scofield is in real trouble.

What can Scofield do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Miyagi has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Scofield is in real trouble here. Miyagi gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Scofield is tapping out! Miyagi wins by rear naked choke!
