Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Levin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninja Berto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Levin! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ninja Berto! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berto scores with a hook. Levin fails in his attempt to clinch. Berto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Levin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Levin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Berto swats him away and circles back towards the center. Berto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Levin just misses with a punch to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Berto is defended easily by Levin. Berto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Levin as he avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Levin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Levin scores with a jab to the head.
Levin misses with a hook. Berto ducked under it nicely. Levin loads up on a big right hand but Berto slips the punch. Levin lands with a cross. Berto shoots in for a double leg but Levin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Scott Levin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ninja Berto.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berto throws a sloppy head kick and Levin moves out of range easily. Berto takes a shot right to the bread basket. Levin lands a jab-cross combination. Levin throws an overhand right that lands on Berto's shoulder, as Berto tries to avoid the shot. A big left from Levin misses. Levin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Levin throws a good cross that connects.
Levin tries to clinch up. Berto on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Berto walks into a left hand.
Berto is rocked! Levin drops Berto with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Berto! Levin dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Scott Levin! Scott Levin is the new lightweight champion!
