Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Herbert Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Kantola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herbert Dean!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jussi Kantola!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kantola moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dean moves out of range of the body kick from Kantola.
Kantola fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dean drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kantola working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dean.
Dean lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Dean postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kantola escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dean pushing down on Kantola's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Dean uses his free foot to push down on Kantola's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kantola.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dean lands a big shot there that rocks Kantola but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Kantola is bucking up trying to escape but Dean cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Dean postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kantola in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kantola to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
