The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roguera avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones throws a series of punches but Roguera moves out of range.
Roguera closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Roguera getting side control.
Roguera is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jones tries to kick Roguera off but Roguera keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Roguera seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.
Roguera is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it.
Roguera is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roguera.
Roguera looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jones pushes Roguera off looking to stand but Roguera dives back in and keeps control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Roguera is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jones is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
