Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alice Wonderland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kendall Alves! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wonderland misses with an uppercut. Alves saw that one coming. Wonderland tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alves swivels and escapes. Wonderland looks to land a left hand but Alves moved out of range nicely. Wonderland doesn't manage to clinch there - Alves circles away.
Alice Wonderland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alves rushes Wonderland and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wonderland breaks the clinch.
Wonderland closes the distance but Alves moves to the side and Alves counters with a single leg into guard. Wonderland didn't expect that. Alves gets to his feet - Wonderland follows without any prompting. Wonderland shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Alves counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Alves. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wonderland can't keep his opponent in guard - Alves advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wonderland misses with a leg kick and Alves counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alves pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wonderland is keeping the position for now. Alves looks gassed! Alves drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wonderland dives on top into guard. Wonderland trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wonderland wants to get up but he can't break Alves's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Alves is looking to stand up but Wonderland isn't so interested in that idea. Alves looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Wonderland passes into side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Wonderland misses the body punch and Alves counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alves prevents Wonderland from standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alves passes to full mount! Alves is standing up, even though he is in mount. Wonderland fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Alves. Alves doesn't manage to clinch there - Wonderland circles away.
Wonderland looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wonderland fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alves manages to avoid it. Wonderland misses with a takedown attempt and Alves counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Alves. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alice Wonderland. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Alves has gone for a leg lock! Wonderland slips out almost immediately though and dives into Alves's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wonderland slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Alves looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wonderland is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kendall Alves dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Alves. Alves stands up. Alves shoots in but Wonderland avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wonderland throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alves sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wonderland misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wonderland tries to clinch up. Alice Wonderland is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A decent looking cross lands there for Alves. Wonderland falls off balance throwing a combination
so Alves counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves trying to control but Wonderland is working from the bottom. Wonderland knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alves on the ground. Alves tries to free his leg and advance position but Wonderland is retaining full guard. Alves sitting in guard here, content to control. Alves is breathing heavily. Alves trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wonderland tries to land a sweep but no joy. Alves trying to control but Wonderland is working from the bottom. Alves forces his way into half guard. Alves is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Wonderland has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Alves is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Alves has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Alves is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wonderland has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wonderland! Alves has his foot on Wonderland's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wonderland works his way back into a safe position though. Alves has an active guard here but Wonderland has managed to pass into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wonderland is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Alves! Alves bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Alves trying to control the position from guard on top but Wonderland is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alves stands up from guard. Let's bang! An inside leg kick lands from Wonderland. Wonderland has his takedown stuffed and Alves makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Wonderland clinches but Alves breaks the clinch and Alves counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alves drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wonderland looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wonderland looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wonderland! Alves looks to move to half guard but instead Wonderland has passed into mount! Damn! Alves wants to control but Wonderland is having none of it. Alves tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alves is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Alves is squirming around, avoiding Wonderland's attempts to control the action. Alves manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kendall Alves showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Wonderland's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Alves wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wonderland, who protects the arm well. Alves tries for a kimura but Wonderland is defending well. Alves wants to stand but Wonderland has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Alves drops back looking for a leg! Wonderland is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wonderland manages to kick Alves off! Alves jumps back into Wonderland's guard. Alves takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wonderland keeping moving, preventing Alves from controlling successfully. Alves trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wonderland's guard. Alves wants to control from the top but Wonderland keeps moving.
