The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hitzlspergher is in all sorts of trouble here.
St Pierre is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hitzlspergher can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hitzlspergher avoids a series of strikes thrown by St Pierre.
Hitzlspergher wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by St Pierre.
St Pierre has hold of Hitzlspergher's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hitzlspergher manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
St Pierre goes for an armbar but he's not got it
Hitzlspergher turns into him and now he's in St Pierre's guard.
Hitzlspergher wants to pass the guard but St Pierre is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
St Pierre has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hitzlspergher should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, St Pierre has tightened it up now! Hitzlspergher should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
