Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shamir Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Preston Broadus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Preston Broadus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shamir Kahn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Preston Broadus! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahn drives through with a takedown into guard. Broadus wants to sweep but no luck. Kahn postures up.
Kahn is in close to Broadus's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kahn wants to pass the guard but Broadus is keeping the position. Broadus looking for a guillotine here but Kahn defends easily.
Broadus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Broadus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kahn wants to control from the top but Broadus keeps moving. Broadus is trying to control the position but Kahn postures up. Kahn is pushing down on Broadus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Broadus is fighting to maintain full guard but Kahn has managed to sneak the leg through. Kahn is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Broadus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kahn. Broadus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kahn is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Broadus has managed to free his arm - good work. Broadus is looking to improve his position.
Kahn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Broadus is just riding it out for now. Kahn eventually gives up the hold. Broadus is refusing to be controlled, as Kahn sits in half guard. Kahn uses his free foot to push down on Broadus's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Broadus. Kahn is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Broadus is working to get back to half guard.
Broadus manages to regain half guard. Good work. Broadus wants to get back to full guard. Broadus is looking to control Kahn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Broadus avoid being mounted? Broadus wants to get back to full guard. Kahn trying to control the pace. Broadus looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broadus striking from the bottom. Broadus is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Kahn has latched onto it... Big trouble! Kahn pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Broadus is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Kahn!
