Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kinjo Sasake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benito Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Linkin Park- Numb. Benito Vasquez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kinjo Sasake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Benito Vasquez! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasquez misses with an uppercut. Sasake saw that one coming. Vasquez pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sasake is out of range and Vasquez settles back down. Sasake doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Sasake shoots in for a takedown but Vasquez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Vasquez connects with a crisp jab. A good leg kick by Vasquez. Sasake scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sasake not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sasake passes to side control. Vasquez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sasake wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vasquez, who protects the arm well. Sasake is trying to get an arm triangle but Vasquez is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sasake throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Vasquez regains half guard there - taking advantage of Sasake's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Sasake seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Vasquez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sasake. Vasquez wants to get back to his feet. Sasake seems to be working for a kimura but Vasquez defends the submission attempt.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sasake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vasquez throws out the jab. A punch combination from Vasquez misses. Vasquez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Vasquez lands with a hook. Sasake tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Vasquez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sasake. Some bone on bone action there as Sasake checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vasquez misses with a straight left. Benito Vasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vasquez looks to score with a jab to the body but Sasake is just out of range. Vasquez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vasquez misses with an uppercut. Sasake takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Vasquez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sasake's calf. Sasake tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vasquez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sasake somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kinjo Sasake. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sasake on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Vasquez is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Sasake shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vasquez napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sasake wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vasquez, who protects the arm well. Sasake goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Vasquez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sasake but great work by Vasquez.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sasake dodges the ground and pound from Vasquez. Sasake is looking to regain half guard here but Vasquez keeps moving and retains side control. Sasake manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Vasquez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sasake is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vasquez pulls his head out easily. Sasake is breathing heavily. Vasquez trying to pass the guard but Sasake defending well. Sasake keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sasake keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Vasquez throws a sloppy head kick and Sasake moves out of range easily. Sasake keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vasquez. Vasquez throws an overhand right that lands on Sasake's shoulder, as Sasake tries to avoid the shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kinjo Sasake will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sasake avoids the head kick by Vasquez.
Sasake tries for a takedown but Vasquez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sasake shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vasquez as he avoids it easily. Vasquez lands a nice looking body shot.
Vasquez cracks a nice hook into Sasake's ribs. Vasquez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kinjo Sasake. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good standup being displayed there by Vasquez as he connects with a hook. Vasquez slaps away a takedown attempt from Sasake, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vasquez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Sasake scores a takedown into full mount! Sasake jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Vasquez is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Vasquez and Sasake has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasquez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sasake trying to control the action but Vasquez is working from the bottom. Sasake working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sasake throws a strike aimed at the side of Vasquez's head but Vasquez avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sasake is trying to get an arm triangle but Vasquez is defending well. Sasake swings around for an armbar but Vasquez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sasake's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vasquez tries to stand but Sasake is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vasquez wants to pass the guard but Sasake is keeping the position. Vasquez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sasake escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vasquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sasake looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Vasquez throws a big right hand that misses. Vasquez wants to control from the top but Sasake keeps moving. Vasquez wants to pass the guard but Sasake is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vasquez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sasake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sasake throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Vasquez passes easily into side control. Nice work. Vasquez tries to advance to mount but can't. Sasake avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Vasquez. The strikes coming from Vasquez are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Sasake manages to work his way to half guard, despite Vasquez's best efforts. The fighters are battling for position here. Sasake manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Sasake escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vasquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vasquez missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Vasquez passes to side control. Vasquez looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sasake is avoiding damage well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kinjo Sasake will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sasake takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Vasquez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sasake takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Vasquez throws an overhand right that lands on Sasake's shoulder, as Sasake tries to avoid the shot. Vasquez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Vasquez misses with a two punch combination.
Sasake checks a leg kick. Vasquez is looking to slow Sasake down with leg kicks. The fighters circling - Vasquez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Vasquez misses with a looping right. Vasquez misses with a series of wild punches.

Vasquez leaves Sasake with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Vasquez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sasake. Vasquez scores with a shot to the body.
Vasquez scores with a one two! Sasake had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sasake shoots in but no luck this time. Horrible takedown by Sasake or perhaps it was just good defense by Vasquez which made him look bad. Vasquez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
