Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kal Too (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiang Kwai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kal Too! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wiang Kwai! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Kwai. That snapped Too's head back.
An inside leg kick lands from Kwai. Too bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kwai throws out a leg kick but Too moves out of range and Kwai only half commits. Too shoots in but no luck this time. Too uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kwai. Too ducks under a wild hook from Kwai. Too throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kwai was covering up waiting for the punch and Too finishes the takedown easily into guard. Too controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kwai wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Too trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Too trying to control but Kwai is working from the bottom. Too postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kwai is on top in guard.
Kwai won't allow Too to sweep him here. Too is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Too working for a triangle but Kwai defends it easily.
Kwai trying to control the position from guard on top but Too is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kwai is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kwai preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kwai wants to control from the top but Too keeps moving. Too is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kwai defends well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Kwai as Too shoots in. Too avoids the body shot from Kwai.
Too scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kwai is looking to regain half guard here but Too keeps moving and retains side control. Kwai is not content to let Too control the position. Kwai struggling a bit here. An elbow from Too crashes against the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kwai is looking for a sweep. Too trying to control the action but Kwai is working from the bottom. Kwai is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Too's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Too controlling the pace. Kwai has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Too is working away from the top position though. Kwai regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kwai trying to keep a closed guard but Too is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Too is really struggling to control Kwai but he's trying to hold on to the position. Kwai working a defensive guard here.
Kwai is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kwai is adopting a defensive guard. Kwai utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Too won't allow Kwai to sweep him here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A decent looking cross lands there for Kwai. A left and a right from Too both land. Nice combination. Kwai swings for the body but Too moves out of range.
Kwai fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wiang Kwai dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Too is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kwai's half guard. Too is controlling the pace.
Kwai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kwai. Kwai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Too. Kwai looking to control.
Too won't allow Kwai to sweep him here. Too looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Too with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Too wants to control from the top but Kwai keeps moving. Kwai trying to control the position.
Too trying to control the position from guard on top but Kwai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Too closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kwai did well to prevent Too getting side control. Too wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kwai keeps working. Too throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kwai wants to get back to full guard. Too sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kwai is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Too is keen to just control but Kwai is a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kwai misses with a wild body shot. Too ducks under a wild hook from Kwai. Too will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Too swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Too throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kwai was covering up waiting for the punch and Too finishes the takedown easily into guard. Too tries to free his leg and advance position but Kwai is retaining full guard. Kwai being controlled here, momentarily. Kwai wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Too trying to control but Kwai is working from the bottom. Kwai trying to keep a closed guard but Too is proving a slippery customer.
Kwai lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Too! Kwai looking to control and managing it successfully. Too slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kwai wants to control but Too is keeping him busy. Kwai is breathing heavily. Too trying to control from the bottom.
Too is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kwai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Too is looking for a sweep. Kwai is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Too fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kal Too dominated that second round. That's time! Too's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Kwai ducks right into an uppercut from Too. A decent looking cross lands there for Too. Too misses with a double jab.
Kwai throws a looping overhand right but Too ducks down to avoid it. Kwai throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Too gets a takedown into half guard. Kwai trying to control but Too postures up.
Too wants to pass the guard but Kwai is defending well. Too is thwarting Kwai's attempts to control the position. Too content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Too tries to pass to full mount but Kwai defends it. Nice strikes from Too there. Too is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kwai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kwai. Too wants to control from the top but Kwai keeps moving. Kwai looking for a sweep. Not yet Kwai, not yet. Too is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Too is pushing down on Kwai's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kwai is fighting to maintain full guard but Too has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Too controlling the action here. Kwai slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kwai keeping moving, preventing Too from controlling successfully. Too with a flurry of punches that miss. Kwai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Too's guard. Kwai trying to control but Too is working from the bottom. Kwai wants to pass the guard but Too is keeping the position. Kwai takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kwai won't allow Too to sweep him here. Kwai trying to control the position from guard on top but Too is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Too being controlled here, momentarily.

Too dives in and grabs Kwai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kwai pushes down on Too's head and hops out. Kwai attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kwai connects with a solid leg kick. Too fails with the takedown. Too shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Too showed some decent athleticism there. Too is looking to stall here but Kwai recovers full guard. Kwai keeping moving, preventing Too from controlling successfully. Kal Too overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Too throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kwai works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kal Too. I think Too has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
