Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cooper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Willie somewhat.
Cooper slaps away a takedown attempt from Willie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Willie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Willie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cooper takes a swing at Willie's ribcage but misses.
Willie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cooper as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boxcar Willie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willie throws the left hand but Cooper avoids the punch easily.
Cooper drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cooper distracts Willie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Willie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cooper defends it easily.
Willie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Cooper passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Cooper decides to stand back up.
Willie pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Willie gets caught flat footed, as Cooper shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cooper not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Willie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cooper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cooper is working Willie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Willie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cooper defends well.
Willie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cooper's guard.
Willie is breathing heavily.

Cooper throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Cooper is looking for a triangle but Willie pushes his legs off easily.

Willie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cooper connects with a right hand. Willie shakes it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Willie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Cooper scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Willie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Willie throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cooper because Willie loaded up on that one.
Cooper tries to hold on but Willie pushes him away.
Cooper can't escape the position.

Cooper is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
Willie is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Cooper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Willie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cooper tries to lock up and control but Willie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cooper can't escape the position.

Willie cracks Cooper with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Cooper is looking to get to half guard.
A nice elbow there by Willie.
Willie fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Willie prevents Cooper from getting the reversal.
Willie cracks Cooper with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The referee warns Cooper that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cooper can do anything to dispel that myth.
Willie with shots to the head and body - Cooper looks very uncomfortable down there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Willie prevents Cooper from getting the reversal.
Willie breaks from Cooper's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Willie in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boxcar Willie dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Willie throws a head kick but Cooper moves out of range.
Willie misses with an uppercut.
Willie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Willie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cooper swats away the attempt to clinch by Willie.
Willie throws a sloppy body shot
and Cooper counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Willie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Boxcar Willie has been cut.
Cooper lands with a hook. Willie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Boxcar Willie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooper looks to score with a jab to the body but Willie is just out of range.
Cooper thuds a left hand into Willie's body.
Cooper digs a good hook to Willie's body.
Cooper dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cooper lands a big uppercut and Willie crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Willie looks OK. Cooper waves Willie back to his feet!

Willie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Willie prevents Cooper from improving his position.
Willie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cooper defend it? Willie steps over the head and cranks it - Cooper is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Willie!
