Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between ryan prevost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Perosche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perosche is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rohff - Dirty Hous'. ryan prevost has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, ryan prevost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Perosche! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! prevost is trying hard to land a takedown here. Perosche sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. prevost shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Perosche pinned against the cage. Perosche gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. prevost shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. prevost is looking for a kimura but Perosche is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for prevost to get the leverage. prevost is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Perosche sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perosche is looking to improve his position.
Perosche wants to get back to full guard but prevost has passed into side control. Perosche is looking to improve his position but prevost isn't that keen on the idea. prevost really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. prevost trying to control but Perosche is having none of it. prevost will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. prevost jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Perosche manages to avoid the submission attempt. Perosche is not content to let prevost control the position. prevost working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. prevost wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Perosche, who protects the arm well. prevost in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Perosche is looking for a sweep.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Perosche throws a series of punches but prevost moves out of range. prevost tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perosche swats him away and circles back towards the center. Perosche misses with a wild combination.
Perosche throws a right and a left that both miss. Perosche throws a combination but it was largely blocked by prevost. Nice defenses there by prevost. prevost closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - prevost lands in his opponent's guard. Perosche is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perosche looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
prevost is stalling in the full guard. prevost trying to control the position from guard on top but Perosche is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. prevost pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Perosche is keeping the position for now. Perosche is trying to keep prevost in close.

Perosche doesn't defend quickly enough and prevost has managed to lock this one up! Can Perosche escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to prevost on a fantastic submission victory.
