The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues drives through with a takedown into guard.
Detrio has his hands on Rodrigues's head, controlling the position.
Detrio utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Detrio controls Rodrigues momentarily but Rodrigues frees himself.
Rodrigues thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Detrio trying to keep a closed guard but Rodrigues is proving a slippery customer.
Rodrigues drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Rodrigues as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Detrio screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Rodrigues! Nice submission victory there!
