Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Mclovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mclovin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sandstorm by Darude. Kent Powell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powell rushes Mclovin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Powell is trying to break free.
Powell wants to break free but Mclovin has control.

Powell wants to get back to striking at distance but Mclovin won't allow it.

Mclovin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kent Powell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Mclovin.
Mclovin throws a nice looking combination but Powell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mclovin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Powell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mclovin has Powell in his guard.
