Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Buford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Tar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Come From A Land Down Under. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Buford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Tar! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buford takes a swing at Tar's ribcage but misses. A slow jab from Buford misses its intended target. Tar scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Marcus Buford has been cut. Buford swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buford as he jumps to the side. Buford misses the shot to the body. Tar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buford.
Tar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buford defends it nicely. Buford throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tar sees it coming and avoids it easily. Marcus Buford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Buford throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Buford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tar's waist but Tar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buford off to one side. Buford avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tar with a poor takedown and Buford counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Marcus Buford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Tar. A shot to the body from Tar misses and Buford counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tar misses with a hook. Tar has his takedown stuffed and Buford counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Buford lands a big uppercut and Tar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tar looks OK. Buford waves Tar back to his feet!
Tar is rocked! Tar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Buford. Buford circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Tar to the canvas! Tar doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Buford keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Buford!
