Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Crocopski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryu Hyabusa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Crocopski! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyabusa jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Michael Crocopski has been cut. Crocopski keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hyabusa. Crocopski defending well as Hyabusa loads up on a big left hand. A combination from Hyabusa does no damage. Hyabusa blocks a head kick by Crocopski.
Hyabusa cracks a nice hook into Crocopski's ribs. Crocopski tries a head kick but it misses.
Crocopski fails with an attempt to clinch.
A lazy left from Hyabusa finds it's target. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hyabusa throws a lazy right hand but Crocopski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Crocopski with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hyabusa to score with a decent uppercut. Crocopski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hyabusa misses with a body shot.
Hyabusa tries to bum rush Crocopski with a series of wild strikes but Crocopski uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hyabusa connects with the punch.
That has opened up Michael Crocopski's cut even more. Crocopski walks into a stiff left hand from Hyabusa. Hyabusa misses with an uppercut. Crocopski saw that one coming. Hyabusa displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Hyabusa lands a big shot that drops Crocopski! Can he finish him?
The cut above Michael Crocopski's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Crocopski is looking to stand up but Hyabusa isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyabusa gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hyabusa moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Crocopski looks gassed! Hyabusa lands a lovely overhand right. Hyabusa throws a left that rocks Crocopski and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hyabusa dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Crocopski regain composure!
Crocopski is rocked!
Michael Crocopski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Michael Crocopski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ryu Hyabusa!
