The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a low kick as Bobberson jumps back.
A nice leg kick lands there from Brown.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bobberson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brown fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bobberson sprawls well initially but Brown persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bobberson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bobberson is trying to maintain the position but Brown is very close to passing his half guard.

Bobberson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brown is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bobberson, into his guard.
Brown passes Bobberson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
