Velasquez comes to the ring accompanied by King Of The World. Cain Velasquez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Randy Orton's chin.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez shoots for a double leg takedown but Orton sprawls well. He's pushed Velasquez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Orton moves into the clinch.
Velasquez is trying to trip Orton. He has hold of a leg but Orton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Velasquez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Orton can do anything to dispel that myth.
Orton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Orton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Velasquez's guard.

Orton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Orton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
