Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballantine rushes Rutten and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ballantine lands a body shot.
Ballantine digs a right hand underneath Rutten's ribcage. Rutten let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Rutten tries to work over Ballantine's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rutten misses with a punch on the inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ballantine.
Still in the clinch, Rutten scores with a nice short uppercut.
Rutten swings wildly with an uppercut but Ballantine uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rutten lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ballantine.
Ballantine digs a right hand into Rutten's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rutten's gas tank.
Rutten looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rutten misses with the head strike.
A shot in the inside from Ballantine.
Ballantine will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rutten up against the cage.
Ballantine lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rutten tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The referee calls for Ballantine to work.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Ballantine for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Ballantine lands with a left to the head.

Ballantine shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Rutten takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Ballantine sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Rutten bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
