Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Sombilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anuwat Kaewsamri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaewsamri lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kaewsamri tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kaewsamri slaps away a takedown attempt from Sombilla, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kaewsamri dodges the punch combination from Sombilla.
Sombilla takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sombilla takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kaewsamri throws a head kick but Sombilla moves out of range.

Sombilla clinches up against the cage.
Sombilla tries to land a knee to the head but Kaewsamri blocks with his arms.
Sombilla wants a takedown but no success here.
Kaewsamri can't break the clinch.

Kaewsamri escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kaewsamri lands a jab to Sombilla's midsection.
Kaewsamri lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
