The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Johnson throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Scott Sorrow has been cut. Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sorrow fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sorrow really is a fat lump. Sorrow tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. A head kick by Johnson - that's a beauty! Sorrow is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Johnson can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kaplan Johnson!
