Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Takanori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RAVEN TYRELL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TYRELL takes a swing at Takanori's ribcage but misses.
TYRELL misses with a wild combination.
Takanori thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takanori lands a nice shot that snaps TYRELL's head back.
TYRELL looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Takanori wants to get back to his feet but TYRELL is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

TYRELL is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Takanori is trying to buck TYRELL off.

Takanori trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
TYRELL decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Takanori throws a series of punches but TYRELL moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Takanori, as that shot connected.
Takanori misses with a two punch combination.
TYRELL fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takanori avoids it really well and circles away.
TYRELL shoots in looking for a takedown. Takanori tries to sprawl out of it but TYRELL keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takanori manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Takanori lands with a right hand.
Takanori takes a swing at TYRELL's ribcage but misses.
Takanori's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Takanori duly obliges.
TYRELL has managed to clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Takanori's face as he tries to break the clinch.
TYRELL ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. TYRELL no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
TYRELL is pulling down on Takanori's head to control his posture.
Takanori might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Takanori stands and steps away. TYRELL gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

TYRELL uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Takanori.

Takanori wants to break free but TYRELL has control.
TYRELL escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and TYRELL counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by TYRELL.
Takanori is looking to stand up but TYRELL isn't so interested in that idea.
TYRELL must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takanori is trying to escape back to his feet but TYRELL uses the scramble to pass into side control.

RAVEN TYRELL dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
TYRELL shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Takanori's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
TYRELL falls off balance throwing a combination
and Takanori counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Takanori fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Takanori throws the left hand but TYRELL avoids the punch easily.
TYRELL lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Takanori. TYRELL does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hideo Takanori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

TYRELL moves out of range as Takanori strikes.
A jab from Takanori finds it's way through TYRELL's defenses.
Takanori misses with a two punch combination.
TYRELL feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

RAVEN TYRELL showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Takanori throws a nice looking combination but TYRELL bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Takanori sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Takanori throws a right hand that TYRELL ducks under and follows up with a left that TYRELL also avoids with ease.
TYRELL tries for a takedown but Takanori sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hideo Takanori has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of RAVEN TYRELL.
Takanori connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed TYRELL momentarily.

Takanori's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
