Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice sprawl there from Hardwood as Jones shoots in.
Hardwood keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hardwood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hardwood stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hardwood wants it to stay on the feet.
Richard Hardwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Jones.

Jones feints and as Hardwood raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones wants to stand but Hardwood is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hardwood not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones throws and elbow that misses. Hardwood uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Hardwood!
Hardwood postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardwood wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Hardwood tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Jones looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hardwood puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Jones tries to kick Hardwood off in order to stand up. Hardwood Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hardwood's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Hardwood could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hardwood working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hardwood works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jones can't escape the position.

Hardwood tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardwood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hardwood throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Hardwood postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.
Hardwood controlling the position easily from mount.
Hardwood can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jones working to try and regain half guard.
Hardwood scoring with strikes but Jones is staying in there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A nice elbow there by Hardwood.
Hardwood trying to control but Jones is having none of it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hardwood lands a right hook to the body.
Hardwood lands a head kick. Jones smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hardwood with a nice cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hardwood is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Igor Jones has been cut.

Hardwood lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Hardwood thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jones is rocked!
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jones misses with a takedown
and Hardwood counters with a huge left! Jones is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hardwood isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Jones from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hardwood!
