And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velazquez tries to clinch up.
Woods fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Velazquez leaves Woods with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Woods gets caught flat footed, as Velazquez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Velazquez trying to control the position from guard on top but Woods is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Woods has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Velazquez off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Woods plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Woods moves in looking to clinch but Velazquez pushes him off.

Woods drops Velazquez with a beautiful combination! Velazquez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Woods is looking for the KO!

Velazquez is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Velazquez feints and as Woods raises his hands in defense, Velazquez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Velazquez is still in real trouble! Can Woods finish him?
Woods looking to hit a scissor sweep but Velazquez is one step ahead there.

Velazquez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Woods manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Velazquez has Woods in his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Woods working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Velazquez seems to have recovered his senses.

Velazquez is looking to sinch up a triangle. Woods throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Velazquez's body to avoid the submission. Velazquez has instead reached around Woods's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Velazquez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
