Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Bijanek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Blunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bijanek's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Avenir Struga. Blunt has chosen Danzig - Mother as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunt with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Blunt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A head kick misses from Blunt.
Bijanek rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blunt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Blunt tries a head kick but it misses.
Blunt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bijanek fails in his attempt to clinch.
Blunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bijanek pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Blunt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bijanek swivels and escapes.

Blunt has hold of Bijanek's hands but Bijanek slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Bijanek moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Blunt.

Bijanek takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bijanek prevents Blunt from getting the reversal.

Blunt tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bijanek has hold of Blunt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Blunt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Blunt bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Blunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bijanek tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bijanek shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blunt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blunt is trying to maintain the position but Bijanek is very close to passing his half guard.

Blunt is breathing heavily.
Bijanek not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Blunt misses with an uppercut. Bijanek saw that one coming.
Blunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bijanek closes the distance and clinches up with Blunt, looking for a takedown. Bijanek pushes Blunt against the cage but Blunt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Blunt comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Blunt lands a head kick. Bijanek smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bijanek swats away the attempt to clinch by Blunt.
Blunt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blunt misses with a low kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Blunt.
Bob Blunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bijanek blocks a head kick by Blunt.
Blunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blunt throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bijanek tries to clinch up
and Blunt counters with a good low kick that Bijanek was not able to check.

A nice leg kick lands there from Blunt.
Bijanek misses with a series of wild punches.
Bijanek tries to clinch but Blunt is having none of it.

Bijanek swings for the body but Blunt moves out of range.
The fighters circle, before Blunt throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Bijanek's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Blunt lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
