Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eloy Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesse Wolfe! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wolfe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Diaz. Wolfe thows a body shot but no joy. Wolfe scores with a punch to the head. Diaz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Eloy Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wolfe dodges the punch combination from Diaz.
Wolfe scores with a hook. Wolfe lunges at Diaz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Diaz's hand. Diaz slips a jab from Wolfe. The fight stays on the outside here - Diaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Diaz. Wolfe throws a leg kick but Diaz checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wolfe throws a hook but Diaz blocks it. Diaz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wolfe fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Diaz on the side of the head. Wolfe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wolfe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Diaz controls Wolfe momentarily but Wolfe frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wolfe looking to pass the guard. Diaz wants to control but Wolfe passes easily into half guard.

Diaz tries to roll over but Wolfe keeps him under control. Wolfe is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wolfe is keen to just control but Diaz is a slippery customer. Wolfe perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Wolfe is looking for a kimura here.
Wolfe wants to take a breather but Diaz is having none of it. Wolfe performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Diaz is looking for a sweep. Wolfe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wolfe working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is not content to let Wolfe control the position. Nice strikes from Wolfe there. Wolfe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wolfe not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Wolfe is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Diaz trying to control from the bottom.
Wolfe takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jesse Wolfe. Wolfe scores with a hook to the body. Diaz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wolfe jabs at Diaz's body. Diaz misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wolfe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Diaz. Wolfe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wolfe connects with the punch. Wolfe misses with a body shot.
A combination from Diaz does no damage. Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Wolfe.
Diaz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Diaz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Diaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Wolfe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wolfe swats away the attempt to clinch by Diaz. Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wolfe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Diaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A combination from Diaz does no damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Wolfe dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Wolfe throws a front kick aimed at Diaz's knee but Diaz avoids it well. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Diaz checks a leg kick. Wolfe stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Diaz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Wolfe to counter with a crisp jab. Diaz throws a series of punches but Wolfe avoids them all with ease. Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wolfe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diaz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Diaz misses with a body punch

Wolfe throws out a leg kick but Diaz moves out of range and Wolfe only half commits. Diaz misses with a series of wild punches.
Donk. Wolfe catches Diaz right on the button with a cross. Wolfe scores with a nice right hand.
Wolfe circles away from the clinch attempt and Wolfe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfe dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice body punch from Wolfe. Wolfe dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wolfe fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Good exchange - Wolfe coming out on top. A cross from Wolfe lands.
Diaz is rocked! Wolfe lands a right hook to the body.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Diaz walks straight into a right hand from Wolfe - that's dropped him! Wolfe jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Diaz from any more punishment! Diaz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
