Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasya Barsukov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cain Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasya Barsukov! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barsukov shoots for a double leg takedown but Lesnar sprawls well. He's pushed Barsukov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Barsukov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lesnar as he jumps to the side. Lesnar moves into the clinch. Barsukov looking for a takedown. Cain Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasya Barsukov. Lesnar lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Lesnar stops a takedown attempt from Barsukov.
Barsukov drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Still in the clinch, Lesnar scores with a nice short uppercut. Lesnar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barsukov backwards. Lesnar lands an elbow inside that Barsukov shrugs off.
It looks like Vasya Barsukov has been cut. Lesnar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Barsukov backwards. Lesnar manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barsukov, pushing him back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Lesnar. Lesnar comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barsukov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lesnar pulls him back up using the underhooks. Barsukov goes for a takedown attempt but Lesnar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lesnar moves into the clinch successfully.
Lesnar pushes Barsukov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A left hand lands to the body for Lesnar.
Lesnar lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A short right from Lesnar. Lesnar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Barsukov darts in trying to clinch and Lesnar moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Lesnar gets underhooks to prevent Barsukov's takedown attempt.
Barsukov looks gassed! Lesnar displaying some good clinch control by pressing Barsukov up against the cage. Lesnar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lesnar has Barsukov pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Barsukov is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Lesnar - that's hurt Barsukov badly! Oh, another knee lands and Barsukov is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Barsukov doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Cain Lesnar!
